A carcass is a carcass. What separates a good vanity from a kitchen base cabinet is not the joinery, it is that the vanity sits at a different height, has to survive standing water at the front edge, and needs its interior cut around a waste trap that runs through the middle of it.
Laundry is the same story with different numbers: a counter over the machines needs an inch of air above them or spin-cycle vibration travels into the wall, and the run needs two to three inches of depth behind it for hoses, the vent and the power lead. Mudrooms turn on hook heights and locker depth, and a home office on where the sockets sit.

Bathrooms and laundries are wet rooms in slow motion. Garages hold heavy things. Materials and fixings are chosen for that rather than borrowed from the kitchen spec.
Match the house
