About an hour. We measure, look at what the boxes are made of, and talk through what you want the room to do. This is where refacing and replacement get decided.

Itemised by the linear foot, back within one business day, showing scope and exclusions. Nothing is booked and nothing is owed at this point.
Materials and dates
Once you approve it we order and confirm a start window. Anything with a long lead time gets flagged now, not the week before we were meant to start.
Fit, then hand over
Cabinets set and levelled, worktops templated afterwards on the finished run, hardware adjusted, and the care guidance explained rather than left in a drawer.

Sometimes the Answer Is Spend Less
The most useful thing a cabinet company can say is that you do not need the expensive option. If your layout works and the carcasses are sound, new doors on the existing boxes give you most of the visible change for a fraction of a replacement.
The reverse holds too. Where the boxes are swollen, the layout is fighting you or the corners waste half their volume, we will say that new doors are money spent on a problem they cannot reach, and explain exactly why.
That includes the small things: an island that would ruin the clearance, a handle that photographs well and catches pockets every morning, a stone that will not suit how you actually cook. None of those cost anything to mention at the survey, and all of them are irritating to discover once the kitchen is finished.
